THE ONLY CONSTANT IS CHANGE

The rhythm of life of the Sámi, “a people of eight seasons”, has been based on the yearly cycle in nature. Cold winters, warm summers, colourful autumns and light-filled springs that bring about the rebirth of nature are the foremost nominators in the northern annual cycle. The four main seasons are completed by seasons of transition in between them, which means the weather is ever-changing.
